Kalwall Celebrates Annual Employee Appreciation Day with a Focus on Safety

Kalwall once again brought employees together for our annual Employee Appreciation Day, a chance to recognize the people whose hard work, dedication and teamwork help make our company successful.

Employees stepped away from their daily routines to enjoy a company-wide BBQ, spend time with coworkers and celebrate another year together. This annual event is one of the ways Kalwall says thank you to the people who contribute every day to our success.

This year, Employee Appreciation Day also continued an important Kalwall tradition: putting workplace safety front and center. Last year’s event introduced the message “Stay Alert. Avoid the Hurt.” For 2026, we invited our employees to get involved by submitting their own ideas for our annual safety slogan.

After reviewing the entries, one message stood out:

“Safety First Because Accidents Last”

The winning slogan serves as a simple but powerful reminder that the choices we make on the job can have lasting consequences. Putting safety first means looking out for ourselves, our coworkers and everyone who goes home to their families at the end of the day.

Employee Appreciation Day is about more than great food and an afternoon together. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the people behind Kalwall and reinforce the values we share as a team.
