Kalwall® Distributor Trikord Receives Excellence Award
African Distributor Receives Sustainable Development Award at Prestigious Exposition
Trikord, the Nigerian distributor of Kalwall, received the 2019 “Excellence in Sustaining Urban Development” award at the recent ArchiBuilt Exposition.
Trikord was named the official Kalwall distributor for Africa in 2018. Kalwall, based in Manchester, N.H., is the world’s leading manufacturer of translucent sandwich panels and diffuse natural light solutions.
“Everyone was fascinated by Kalwall (at the expo), to the point where we even had architecture lecturers using our booth to illustrate usage of our products and more,” says Trikord Managing Director Engr. Chimdi Ezem.
Trikord was honored during the 30th annual ArchiBuilt Exposition in Abuja, Nigeria. The exposition is hosted by the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and focuses on innovative and sustainable technologies, as well as the contribution of companies to both the environment and the building industry.
Trikord, which is a single source for roofing and cladding products, was established by Cosmo Base Consortium Ltd. to fill the gap in Nigeria’s construction industry. Trikord also works with Kalwall strategic partner Structures Unlimited, Inc. of Bow, N.H.
