Kalwall® is a Highly Insulated, Structural Unit…
| A unique composite sandwich panel, 2-3/4" (70 mm) or 4" (100 mm) in thickness, formed by permanently bonding specially formulated fiberglass reinforced translucent faces to a grid core constructed of interlocked, extruded structural aluminum or thermally broken composite I-beams. The panel's insulating properties are further enhanced by adding increased densities of either translucent spun glass "batts" or aerogel. U-value options range from 0.53 (3.0 W/m2) to 0.05 (0.28 W/m2) by NFRC methods. The result is a fenestration component that is beautiful, contemporary, colorful and TOUGH. One that requires almost no maintenance…and is low in cost to buy, to erect and to own. |

| Superior Load Capacity |
|
| When the wind starts to howl or rain and snow start to accumulate… enormous unexpected loads can push look-alike panels far beyond their limit. Warping, buckling and collapsing result, followed by extensive interior damage and even bodily harm. Kalwall's composite panel delivers miraculous performance, which can stand up to hurricane-force winds and other loads with ease. | |

| This is NOT possible with competitive systems! Curved panels are manufactured with some similar properties, but available only in 2-3/4" (70 mm) thickness. |
